Hi, Portland. I just updated to 22H2. It still had not come up in my regular update offerings and I did not want to manually download it. (IDK, but seems more likely that something could go wrong.) However, I DID find a way to get it offered to me in Updates, which is what has just been completed. A very quick process, nothing obviously different on my computer. But my "About" page now shows 22H2 as my version. If you have not yet gotten the option of 22H2 in your Updates, here is what I did:
- Joined the Windows Insider program and selected the category involving previews of new builds.
- Went back to check for updates.
- Was offered the dreaded Windows 11 (!) and clicked "Stay with Windows 10 for now"
- Checked for updates again, and there it was: feature update 22H2.
- Downloaded and installed same.
- Went back to the Windows Insider program and left the program. Did not want to be continually offered previews of things, or be continually re-offered Windows 11.
I have a couple of screen shots, if you want/need to go this route. Let me know.
