Windows 11 Bluetooth no sound/microphone and crashing

My Bluetooth earphones have been working well all the time until I upgraded my laptop to Windows 11. The laptop shows my earphones are connected, but neither sound nor microphone works. The browser and Zoom crash every time I try to use Bluetooth earphones to listen to music or join meetings.

I have tried disconnecting/reconnecting Bluetooth earphones, turning on/off Bluetooth, resetting my earphones, restarting my laptop, and none of these resolves the issues of no sound/mic and crashing. I even bought a new pair of Bluetooth earphones, and it did not work either.

I think this is a bug in Windows 11. Am I the only one facing this issue? What exactly is going on with Windows 11 Bluetooth? And what else can I do now?

    Update: The issue was resolved by going back to Window 10.

    I have the same problem. I had no issue with Win 10. I tried various types of bluetooth devices and they all crash Zoom and Youtube. It looks like a Win 11 issue

    No I just upgraded to windows 11 and have the exact same issue with both Logitech and Bose wireless headphones trying to initiate a teams call. Was fine on Windows 10. Microsoft you have a bug here.... It may be driver related, but the reality it was fine on windows 10 and not on 11.

    Same issue here.

    Same behaviour on Bose NC 700, Bose QC 35ii, Sony WH-1000XM2 and Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pro.

    I mainly notice on Teams as that's my work platform, but also affects Zoom when I do use it.

    This really needs fixing.

    I have same problem. My Sony BLue Tooth headphones worked great in Windows 10 with Zoom. After I upgraded to Windows 11 - my Sony BLueTooth headphones ALWAYS crash Zoom! I've scoured the internet looking and trying out different solutions. But nothing works. I'm having to use my laptops speaker and laptop microphone for all my Zoom calls ! Really , really frustrating. I don't know if it's Windows 11 or Zoom that needs to fix this problem. Guessing it's Windows 11 since I read Teams users having same issue.

    Please fix this Microsoft --- and soon please.
