Window 11 taskbar auto-hide turning off

I switched to Windows 11 a few weeks ago, and ever since then, the taskbar auto-hide quits working when the computer comes out of Sleep mode. I have to be away from the computer for a while before it will happen, and I believe it has something to do with me running dual monitors. When I wake my computer, my secondary monitor appears to come up faster than my primary by just a fraction. Once my primary is on, there is a message saying something about the taskbar already being hidden (I think) and the taskbar on my primary monitor has the taskbar up. When I go to Taskbar Behaviors, 'Automatically hide the taskbar' is no longer checked. I'll select it again, and it will work fine until the system goes back into Sleep mode for a while, again.

    Same problem with Windows 11 forgetting to autohide the taskbar when Automatically hide the taskbar is checked. I tried random combinations of settings in taskbar behaviors and have had better results with:

    Taskbar behaviors

    Automatically hide the taskbar - checked

    Show badges on taskbar apps - unchecked

    Show flashing on taskbar apps - unchecked

    Show my taskbar on all displays - unchecked

    Show recent searches when i hover over the search icon - checked

    Share any window from my taskbar - checked

    Select the far corner of the taskbar to show the desktop.

    I'm using the laptop monitor with an external monitor set to extend displays.

    I had the same problems and contacted Microsoft Support and they went into task manager and refreshed Windows Explorer, and I haven't had any issues since.

    I just got off the computer with Microsoft support regarding this taskbar issue and they were able to resolve it quickly what they did was go into Task Manager and then to Windows Explorer and restarted Windows Explorer and it brought back my taskbar and seems to be working simply fine so far. Good luck.

    I have the exact same issue and the only way my taskbar comes back is if I restart my computer it seems and then its there ago, but I shouldn't have to restart every time I sign back on.

    I've been through multiple new computer builds using both intel and amd cpu's, gpu's and now I'm back to an intel z790 mb with13900k and a nvidia rtx 4090 and it still does this same behavior running build 23623.1250. Some times it draws up my open windows by the same amount as the taskbar and others it just leaves them alone once I unclick and click the hide taskbar setting.

    Surely MS can fix this once and for all as a sleeping monitor should not cause this behavior.
