Window 11 taskbar auto-hide turning off

I switched to Windows 11 a few weeks ago, and ever since then, the taskbar auto-hide quits working when the computer comes out of Sleep mode. I have to be away from the computer for a while before it will happen, and I believe it has something to do with me running dual monitors. When I wake my computer, my secondary monitor appears to come up faster than my primary by just a fraction. Once my primary is on, there is a message saying something about the taskbar already being hidden (I think) and the taskbar on my primary monitor has the taskbar up. When I go to Taskbar Behaviors, 'Automatically hide the taskbar' is no longer checked. I'll select it again, and it will work fine until the system goes back into Sleep mode for a while, again.

    This is my solution so far, I've posted I have had this issue for a while, but I wound up finding a cleaner solution at least for me with my dual monitor setup & TV. Instead of unplugging my two monitors and plugging into my TV and vice versa every time I want to switch screens to play my games in the other room and have this error occur. I wound up finding a great program on SourceForge called "Monitor Profile Switcher".

    It lets me switch between a profile of having my monitors on and switch over to my TV without having to plug & unplug cables. The error does not seem to pop up, and the profiles/toggle shows up right at the bottom right of the taskbar.

    Edit: It doesn't fix the bug, but does make switching screens alot easier.

    FYI. A clean install of W11 22H2 did not resolve the issue. In my opinion no matter what you do you won't get rid of it. It's either a Windows problem that they're not dealing with or a driver of some sort.

    I have the same problem. I just bought a new Win11 laptop last week so I could use the USB-C (thunderbolt) docking station and the two extra monitors I have for my work laptop. Every time I either plug the docking station (and monitors in) or wake the PC up with the monitors plugged in "Automatically hide the taskbar" is unchecked and I get the same message as the OP. Pretty annoying.

    I have W11 on 2 computers, a Lenovo Notebook and a Dell PC with a second monitor. On both configurations the autohide issue has past away long ago, everything works fine. The autohide doesn't work, if on any of the open windows is a notification, appointements or new messages. Just confirm the notification and/or look at the window (f.e. Signal Desktop) and the autohide works fine again.

    I don't want to defend Microsoft for not resolving the issue (for god's sake!!!), but I can imagine, that it is quite difficult to find the mistake, as on many configuration it works, on others not. And I cannot imagine whether they have enough informations about each of the computers with or without the problems
