Window 11 taskbar auto-hide turning off

I switched to Windows 11 a few weeks ago, and ever since then, the taskbar auto-hide quits working when the computer comes out of Sleep mode. I have to be away from the computer for a while before it will happen, and I believe it has something to do with me running dual monitors. When I wake my computer, my secondary monitor appears to come up faster than my primary by just a fraction. Once my primary is on, there is a message saying something about the taskbar already being hidden (I think) and the taskbar on my primary monitor has the taskbar up. When I go to Taskbar Behaviors, 'Automatically hide the taskbar' is no longer checked. I'll select it again, and it will work fine until the system goes back into Sleep mode for a while, again.

It is 2025 and the problem still exists. This bug has been around for a long time, very long.

Googled this issue and found this 2 year old thread with over 200 replies and no resolution. Add me to the list. Same circumstances. Win 11 wakes from hibernation, message on screen about the toolbar, and autohide disables.

I'm just amazed that in all my 40 years of life that Microsoft has never actually given an answer that actually helps anyone. Take this question. They didn't even read the question, gave some response to a question that literally no one asked, then just vanished into thin air never to be heard from again

OMG people! STOP posting "I have the same problem." Just click the button on the original post that says you have the same question. Adding another message to this stream makes it take forever to wade through the replies to try to find one that helps.

There is no answer! For my part, I'm glad everyone is posting the same problem. Maybe one day Microsoft will actually come out of hiding and tell us why this problem hasn't been solved. I moved to win11 in December last year, and we're still waiting...
