I switched to Windows 11 a few weeks ago, and ever since then, the taskbar auto-hide quits working when the computer comes out of Sleep mode. I have to be away from the computer for a while before it will happen, and I believe it has something to do with me running dual monitors. When I wake my computer, my secondary monitor appears to come up faster than my primary by just a fraction. Once my primary is on, there is a message saying something about the taskbar already being hidden (I think) and the taskbar on my primary monitor has the taskbar up. When I go to Taskbar Behaviors, 'Automatically hide the taskbar' is no longer checked. I'll select it again, and it will work fine until the system goes back into Sleep mode for a while, again.

My hide taskbar has not been unchecked now in over 24 hours with multiple sleeps and a few restarts. I went into settings, system, notifications and shut/ them all off in the upper right. I probably didn't have to uninstall Microsoft Teams and could have shut it's notification off instead. I guess by unchecking one at a time we could find out which apps are causing the hide taskbar to become unchecked.
1 desktop and 1 laptop both on W11 pro 22622.290 and both do the same thing with forgetting that the hide taskbar checkbox is checked. If my desktop goes to sleep or turns off the monitors its a 50 50 shot on whether or not it will happen as sometimes it behaves normally when the monitors come back on.
Well, as I've mentioned before, I have one computer complete with extra screen with perfectly working hide-bars, and one, on its own, where the option is permanently on or permanently hide and press the windows key to show. No solution has worked, so I'm just waiting until Microsoft decides that this issue is important enough. This is the problem with MS hold all the power.
Forcing us to disable all apps doesn't seem to be a viable solution from MS's behalf

Well that fix didn't last long. Got up this morning and the got the message about a side taskbar and my hide taskbar option was unchecked again. It must have something to do with notifications or something. Getting rid of Microsoft Teams at least stops it from happening every time the system goes to sleep. There is probably some other app that needs to be uninstalled.
