Window 11 taskbar auto-hide turning off

I switched to Windows 11 a few weeks ago, and ever since then, the taskbar auto-hide quits working when the computer comes out of Sleep mode. I have to be away from the computer for a while before it will happen, and I believe it has something to do with me running dual monitors. When I wake my computer, my secondary monitor appears to come up faster than my primary by just a fraction. Once my primary is on, there is a message saying something about the taskbar already being hidden (I think) and the taskbar on my primary monitor has the taskbar up. When I go to Taskbar Behaviors, 'Automatically hide the taskbar' is no longer checked. I'll select it again, and it will work fine until the system goes back into Sleep mode for a while, again.

    Two-plus years on and this is still an issue. As the original poster mentions seems to be tied to having multiple monitors where a non-primary is recognized first by Windows 11.

    ImageI updated my computer a few days ago and my taskbar started auto hiding. I don't like that so I turned it off. When I restarted my computer it worked fine.

    I just woke my computer up. The auto hide is turned off, but it's still hiding. I've checked and unchecked the box. Restarted my computer 2-3 times and it's still hiding.

    You're in the wrong thread, mister. All of us actually want the taskbar to autohide, but some ridiculous bug is preventing us to do so and Microsoft does absolutely nothing about it.

    I have the same exact issue. Autohide always turns off when in a dual-monitor arrangement. I have to manually go in and re-enable autohide taskbar multiple times a day (I move between stations with different monitors). Please fix.
