I also have this problem. Dual monitor setup. Every week or 2 the setting to hide taskbar gets unchecked by windows for some stupid reason. Win 11 has been a real disappointment. There are so many issues with the desktop that just dont seem to be getting acknowledged or fixed.
Window 11 taskbar auto-hide turning off
I switched to Windows 11 a few weeks ago, and ever since then, the taskbar auto-hide quits working when the computer comes out of Sleep mode. I have to be away from the computer for a while before it will happen, and I believe it has something to do with me running dual monitors. When I wake my computer, my secondary monitor appears to come up faster than my primary by just a fraction. Once my primary is on, there is a message saying something about the taskbar already being hidden (I think) and the taskbar on my primary monitor has the taskbar up. When I go to Taskbar Behaviors, 'Automatically hide the taskbar' is no longer checked. I'll select it again, and it will work fine until the system goes back into Sleep mode for a while, again.

2024-01-16T13:14:57+00:00 I did contact support to allow remote access. The problem still exists. I am using a SINGLE monitor, not multiple monitors like some others in this thread.

2024-01-08T14:25:39+00:00 This fix does not work, it is just how to turn it on, the issue is not turning it on, the issue is the setting not STAYING turned on, it turns off on its own after a certain amound of time.

2023-12-06T02:36:53+00:00 I have this same exact issue, which just started 2-3 weeks ago and it's driving me crazy. Did Microsoft ever explain how to fix this?
