Window 11 taskbar auto-hide turning off

I switched to Windows 11 a few weeks ago, and ever since then, the taskbar auto-hide quits working when the computer comes out of Sleep mode. I have to be away from the computer for a while before it will happen, and I believe it has something to do with me running dual monitors. When I wake my computer, my secondary monitor appears to come up faster than my primary by just a fraction. Once my primary is on, there is a message saying something about the taskbar already being hidden (I think) and the taskbar on my primary monitor has the taskbar up. When I go to Taskbar Behaviors, 'Automatically hide the taskbar' is no longer checked. I'll select it again, and it will work fine until the system goes back into Sleep mode for a while, again.

    I turn off my main monitor every night and only keep the sub monitor on, so disabling taskbar from the secondary monitor does not help me because than I have no access until I turn the primary monitor back on. (No I cant switch my secondary to my primary monitor because than Id have to switch primary monitors every time i go to sleep and wake up, at that point, it would be easier to disable /enable auto-hide TaskBar)

    I found that turning off "Show task bar on all displays" fixed the issue for me.

    I hope that it helps you as well and anyone else who finds themself with the issue

    Is there a way to do this without having to Restart the machine??
    I think I tried that once and it worked but it does not make sense when you have stuff that you're working on.

    By the way, in my particular case, the Taskbar does not respond even if the machine has recently being boot up, no hibernation mode has been triggered, or nothing that I am aware of.

    This is very annoying, you cannot maximize your screens when the dark bark is covering the background and you need to see just the portion that's covering it.

    There must be a better way Microsoft!

    Of course, I had already done the autohide thing, many many months ago, this post is out of frustration only, LOL.

    The problem would have been solved by not removing the option of a vertical taskbar, which is yet another undesired 'feature' of Windows 11 and a reason to stay on Windows 10 if you can. I've been tempted not to upgrade Windows 11 if you can get the vertical taskbar hacks to work and avoid the overlay problem that I've enountered several times that required reboots to fix (at inopportune times.)

    Yes, they apparently don't care! Should be a simple fix via update.
