Window 11 taskbar auto-hide turning off

I switched to Windows 11 a few weeks ago, and ever since then, the taskbar auto-hide quits working when the computer comes out of Sleep mode. I have to be away from the computer for a while before it will happen, and I believe it has something to do with me running dual monitors. When I wake my computer, my secondary monitor appears to come up faster than my primary by just a fraction. Once my primary is on, there is a message saying something about the taskbar already being hidden (I think) and the taskbar on my primary monitor has the taskbar up. When I go to Taskbar Behaviors, 'Automatically hide the taskbar' is no longer checked. I'll select it again, and it will work fine until the system goes back into Sleep mode for a while, again.

    I uninstalled Microsoft Teams, but the problem persists. Teams is not the cause of this issue.

    I'm currently running w11 22H2 build 22622.290 and the task bar issue persists when waking from sleep or if windows has enabled power saver mode on the monitors. You would think that somebody would get off their behinds and fix this annoyance.

    I concur. Microsoft teams seems to be the issue. After I uninstalled it, and removed it from my list of startup programs I'm no longer having issues with the taskbar. And I have a desktop with three displays.

    So that's it Microsoft teams is/was the problem. At least it was for me I hope the same works for you.

    In my case, it's the Teams desktop app every time.

    Same issue. Persisting for months. Every week or so I need to go back into the taskbar settings and turn the auto-hide back on. What a surprise; a basic feature consistently "broken". They might as well call it a feature at this point.
