How do I turn off PIN login on Windows 11?

When I go to the "remove pin", the button is grayed out. I contacted HP tech support & they said that's a software issue. I was able to turn it off in Win 10, but when I rec'd my new laptop that was supposed to have Win 10 installed, it turned out to be Win 11. Anyone have a fix?

    Hello,

    The procedure you wrote is absolutely right. The problem with my computer is that the button to remove the pin is greyed out and I don't know what to do with it.

    I hope you understand my problem and help me with this.🙂

    I have disabled it many times, but after each reboot I get prompted to create a PIN. I cannot log in until I create the PIN.

    Wow... what a PIA but that worked, YAY

    Thx for sticking with it., it also has solved some operating issues on a new dell XPS laptop that I've been dealing with for over a year

    Note that the registry hack I posted works for when the computer goes to sleep. But it is still looking for a PIN on a reboot. I guess I'll have to live with it..... At least, I don't reboot as often as I put the machine to sleep.

    i did it, but dose not, let the box available to select.... why? I tryied several times with diferents instructions and still the same .... I cant removed
