Windows 11 is keep installing the wrong AMD driver

I installed the proper version on the amd website with auto detect and windows 11 is keep installing the old driver which is causing graphics problems. How to stop this ?

    Has anyone found out a fix?

    Ive tried disabling windows update many ways, and it just reinstalled the **** driver as always. This is so annoying, had my computer for 3 months and found no way around this. It crashes all the time, and i dont dare using it with demanding tasks since i will lose progress on something

    There are reasons why big companies often like to buy from big OEMs. WRT building your own, good luck with that when it comes to a notebook or laptop! Back in the day when I bought my All AMD Gaming Laptop, there weren't any other brands making them, just the one OEM (although there's more choice now).

    I partly agree with this, and that's why long ago I gave up on trying to use large OEMs like Dell, HP, and the like. Both were favorites of business purchasers. I'd line up my builds against theirs any time, certain I build better machines than they do. The practice you describe is just another perfect example of anti-competitive collusion. It's sheer **** to select Dell or HP or whoever as your "partner" in crime. I can't imagine doing that, yet overwriting the drivers of the actual component manufacturer. We need antitrust laws enforced again.

    I Am using windows 11, 22H2 version. I am also suffering from this problem. nearly 15 times I Uninstalled and installed again this AMD Driver with adrenaline software. now I decide to stop getting windows updated bcz it's hard to reinstall correct new version of the AMD driver after doing the windows update.... please Microsoft Devs fix this

    yes, this is true. it's really painful and I installed and uninstalled nearly 15 times. please don't update amd drivers by Microsoft.... please we begging stop it
