Why did Windows 11 suddenly become slow?

I received notification from Windows a few months ago and upgraded to Windows 11. It was fast and smooth in the beginning, but in the last two-three weeks, it has become significantly slow. It annoys me a lot, simply file browsing has been painful. It takes forever to open a web site on Chrome. This never was the case before, my laptop used to be really fast. I am suspicious that this is because of recent Windows 11 updates. I just want to go back Windows 10 and have my laptop speed back.
Another issue in Windows 11 that annoys me a lot is the tabs in taskbar. They frequently disappear. For instance, if I have 5 apps open, suddenly all the icons in taskbar disappear and I have to restart file explorer to fix it.
How do I fix all these permanently, or go back to Windows 10?

2023-06-06T18:04:12+00:00 I've used Edge for years, I like the points and $5 credits for Amazon that I get, LOL, but this is ridiculous, and it slows me down, trying to insert its suggestions, etc. And I haven't done an update yet, but it came with a new laptop I got a couple of months ago so maybe it was already updated.

2023-06-06T18:00:46+00:00 I wish I could, but I'm not rich, like u, LOL. The more I use W11, the more I hate it, and I hated W10 too. And this AI stuff is ludicrous. I asked it why it kept asking me the same question and wanted to know if it had memory problems and it got very curt with me and ended the conversation, what a joke.

2023-06-06T15:45:57+00:00 Same problem here. After the last two updates to Edge, it has become bloated and slow. With one tab open it consumes over 500mb of memory. Edge constantly freezes for a few seconds when multiple tabs are open. I have a Ryzen 5 with 16gb Ram and two NVMe drives rated for over 5000Mbps.
The chat feature totally destroyed Edge and now browsing is so slow I use Firefox often. The security features they put in Edge caused a lot of websites to quit working. I don't have an Ad Blocker installed yet many financial sites I use to browse now tell me to disable my Ad Blocker to continue. Microsoft needs to give me the option of what features I want in Edge. Typical Microsoft to take a perfectly good functioning piece of software and bloat it and kill it.
