I built a very fast $2,500 desktop. Windows 11 made it the slowest PC I ever had. Basically Windows 11 is junk. Don't spend your money on Microsoft. I will change over to Linux.

I received notification from Windows a few months ago and upgraded to Windows 11. It was fast and smooth in the beginning, but in the last two-three weeks, it has become significantly slow. It annoys me a lot, simply file browsing has been painful. It takes forever to open a web site on Chrome. This never was the case before, my laptop used to be really fast. I am suspicious that this is because of recent Windows 11 updates. I just want to go back Windows 10 and have my laptop speed back.
Another issue in Windows 11 that annoys me a lot is the tabs in taskbar. They frequently disappear. For instance, if I have 5 apps open, suddenly all the icons in taskbar disappear and I have to restart file explorer to fix it.
How do I fix all these permanently, or go back to Windows 10?

2023-06-23T21:20:51+00:00 Doesn't matter, the Edge browser is still there in the background. In fact it will continue to try to get you to make it the default browser. Try removing it and see what is does to your windows 11 system. Hope you know how to reset / reinstall!

2023-06-23T20:35:21+00:00 Based on my experience, I see the issue as being tied into The Microsoft Edge browser, which some App are tied into. And the AI that they have pasted onto it is so slow and takes several threads to do anything. If you take a look into the processes activated by the browser in Task Manager, you'll see what I mean. With that and all the tracking in Windows, it just takes up more processing time. More bloat is the Microsoft name of the game IMO.
