Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard stops working randomly (but not the mouse nor number pad)

I have a Microsoft Sculpt ergonomic wireless keyboard for a few months now. I run Windows 11. I did the last update on my computer yesterday and since then the keyboard randomly stops working. I tried using the solutions on this thread https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-hardware/microsoft-sculpt-wireless-keyboard-intermittent/576defc3-634a-4a6a-9793-230dcc447f77 from 2018, but nothing works. It's the same issue : I have to remove the batteries, wait a bit, put them back in and the keyboard works again. When the keyboard doesn't work, the number pad still does as does the mouse. It's my work computer so I don't have all the access for the Command Thing. Right now as I'm typing, the keyboard is randomly activating and de-activating some shortcuts despite me not touching anything but the keys to write.

What do I do ? I've done all the updates, I've run the Hardware & Devices updates/troubleshooting and nothing is helping.

Infos about the computer :

Acer Spin 513-52N, Edition Windows 11 Home, version 21H2, OS build 22000.613 64bits (I'm not sure which infos you need).

    Both times when I fiddled with the sticking key a bit and to get it unstuck, the problem of the keyboard disconnecting (despite the number pad working) went away - no more taking the batteries out and putting them back in every time I stopped using the keyboard for a few minutes.

    I hope the previously 10+ pages are all responding to this post. For reasons none of us can understand some of the keys get stuck. My was the 'PrtScn' key. Lots of pressing and some careful cleaning has seemingly free'ed the key. But it does feel as though it's going to get stuck again.

    Open notepad and check every single key.

    I wish I'd viewed these comments before purchasing the Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Wireless Desktop Keyboard and Wireless Mouse L5V-0001 on 27 Jan 2024. We attempted to initiate a return request via Amazon but the return window has closed. We paid $369.50 (Business Price). We cannot repurpose or return and no refund is available. I will be connecting with those that make corporate purchasing decisions to remove this item from our business catalog.

    Wow, so maybe it is MS USB hardware has some issues and they can't figure it out.

    Found a WIRED Urgo keyboard from Perixx - hopefully the germans have MS drivers figured out :-)

    Thanks for confirming I am not crazy.

    I have a MS Surface Book high end machine a year old and the problem was not there at first.

    So some update caused this and there appears to be no fix.

    For all those in the future that view, my opinion is run far away from MS Hardware of any time. They just don't care and don't offer any support.

    Sad....

    Off to Logitech to find a new keyboard
