Audio stopped working after upgrading win11 to 22H2

Hi,

My audio is not working after upgrading to 22H2. My computer is an ASUS less than one year old. I have tried to reinstall the Realtek driver without solving the problem.

Looking in the devicemanager the Realtek driver has this error after each time I have reinstalled the driver:

Device INTELAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0294&SUBSYS_104313B2&REV_1000\5&205ca6cb&0&0001 had a problem starting.

Driver Name: oem88.inf

Class Guid: {4d36e96c-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}

Service: IntcAzAudAddService

Lower Filters: 

Upper Filters: 

Problem: 0x0

Problem Status: 0xC00000E5

Is there any ideas of what I can try to get this working again?

    Finally I got the audio to work again. I made three changes and after that it works, but I can´t really say what was the most important ones. This is what I did:

    1. Since ICEsound isnt supporting 22H2 I looked up ICEsound in the list of services and I stopped and inactivated it (restarted and checked that it remains inactivated).
    2. Reinstalled the Realtek audio driver by deinstalling it and letting windows update reinstall it during a restart.
    3. ...and this was not intentionally... during the restarts above Windows update installed an update (KB5019509) to 22H2

    After this my sound is back!

    Sorry, that's a no-go for me, since I don't have ICEsound.

    An online chat with an Asus agent, which included downloading and reinstalling the driver, did not resolve the issue.

    Before I got information from ASUS that there is a patch under developement that was going to be release mid-october, however yesterday I got a new update from them:

    I am sorry to say, no firm ETA, as it still may be delayed until they deem it ready.

    All I know it is planned for Q4 of this year, but that can mean anything right now.

    Have you heard any update from Asus? Is there a link on their web site I can go to?
