Hi,

My audio is not working after upgrading to 22H2. My computer is an ASUS less than one year old. I have tried to reinstall the Realtek driver without solving the problem.

Looking in the devicemanager the Realtek driver has this error after each time I have reinstalled the driver:

Device INTELAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0294&SUBSYS_104313B2&REV_1000\5&205ca6cb&0&0001 had a problem starting.

Driver Name: oem88.inf

Class Guid: {4d36e96c-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}

Service: IntcAzAudAddService

Lower Filters:

Upper Filters:

Problem: 0x0

Problem Status: 0xC00000E5

Is there any ideas of what I can try to get this working again?

I encountered this issue once after Windows 11 update last year, on Lenovo Ideapad C340 notebook. No remedies from Microsoft community, nor Lenovo works.

I sent back to Lenovo service centre, they solved this issue by Reset or Reinstall Windows 10, and performed "test" for several days.

I seek advise from a technician working at a computer retailer, and was told that they encountered issues with their computer after every Windows 11 update. They simply perform Windows Reset (keep data).

Hope this suggestion helps, instead of wasting so much time trying to find solutions online, but ended up unable to solve any problem.

I was experiencing this same issue. I resolved it by going to my motherboard manufacturer website and searching for the audio driver they provide. It was a newer version than the one I had currently installed, and installing this latest version allowed my sound to start working again. Unfortunately, this driver update was not available via Windows Update.

Your mileage may vary, but it does seem like the 22H2 update is not grabbing the latest Realtek audio driver.

    Hi,

I have an Asus UX535L I think it's called. Bought it this year. It has a Intel i7 processor and both Intel and Nvidia graphics card.

I have the Realtek Audio driver (not high definition as you), version 6.0.9219.1, which is the latest one.
