Windows 10 import picture's and videos not detecting correct android pictures!!

Hello, when I use windows 10 explorer's import pictures and videos on my galaxy s8, the import wizard shows up but they all have the wrong photo which is different from whats showing within android. For some reason, the import pictures and video wizard doesn't detect more than 4k files even thought I have alot more than 4k files. Also, even though the folder to where the pictures/videos are being imported to is empty, windows still shows this error:

    The import wizard writes to the temp folder, then renames the temp file (adds the file extension) and copies it to your chosen location -- e.g., Pictures.

    Pls note: The forum software doesn't email notify if a post has been edited. I happened to check this post by accident and saw your updated response.

    Also, make sure to disable the option "Delete files from the device after importing" (is a safety measure) before starting the Import.

    I have disabled the delete files from device after import by default because obviously I want to cross-check the imported files with the right files from within my android phone to make sure it is the correct picture/video. How can I ensure that edited post and as well as newer posts are sent as an email ? I am also not received any notifications from your replies.

    Hi ghostanime2001,

    Just trying to make a thing clear here. You need to run the command only when the import wizard is running and throws an error.

    After running the command, click on "Retry" in the error dialog.

    I did not try that. Thanks for pointing out that little unfortunate error by me. I am wondering what does photo import wizard has anything to do with the temporary folder?
