how to display picture thumbnails windows 11

How do I display thumbnails in pictures; tried selecting pictures, all folders, large icons, apply, didn't work, tried selecting default settings, didn't work, help!

    I absolutely hate one drive. Same problems. Can't find files, thumbnails don't work.
    Went through EVERY suggestion on this page and others.
    I'm ready to find another operating system and stop using 365.

    Thanks, Mary. I may ultimately do that. I have spent so much time on it at this point and don't want to spend more time dealing with something else. It's also an issue of I have this included in my MS subscription, which I need for work, and don't want to have to spend more money on another cloud.

    I feel your pain, Micka. My jpgs have magically reappeared as thumbnails, and I have no clue how I had this good fortune happen. BUT the newest issue is I no longer have the option for "always keep on this device" for folders. I'm seriously considering returning this computer, but I don't think they sell anything with Windows 10 anymore.
