I don't know if its a bug or this is how windows 11 is, I just can't access my bios nor the advanced startup, if I boot the computer and spam the BIOS MODE (delete key) it just goes into a black screen and nothing happens it just stays black as long as I keep it running same thing happens with trying to go into advanced startup after it restarts same thing happens black screen and nothing else no cursor nothing even the monitor goes into power saving mode.

I checked everything from cables to bios updates and nothing

plus it was completely working on windows 10 I can go to advanced startup no problem BIOS no problem

after updating to windows 11 it just doesn't work at all.

also a note that when I boot the computer or press the power button it stays black for 3-5 seconds and then instantly loads windows I don't see the motherboard logo or the modes I can go to before it starts loading windows.

I had the same problem but was able to fix it.

Step 1, Change the monitor refresh rate to 60Hz.

Step 2, Turn off the fast start-up in the power option (google for instructions)

Step 3, Use HDMI or DP to connect to the motherboard, not the GPU(I used DP)

Step 4, I had my PS5 turned on and connected to the HDMI port of the monitor(IDK PS5 help or not, maybe you can just turn off the monitor). When I reset the PC, the monitor switched to HDMI. While the PC was resetting, I smashed F2 and DEL. I switched back to DP after 10 or 15 seconds and voila, it worked!!!

I encountered the same issue and managed to access the BIOS by plugging my HDMI into a TV rather than a monitor. Since this isn't a practical long-term solution, I did a bit more digging.

I noticed that disabling Secure Boot and enabling CSM support in the BIOS settings fixed the issue for the monitor, but I wanted Secure Boot enabled for Windows 11. Eventually I found that switching my PCIe setting in the BIOS from Auto to 3.0 allowed me to see the BIOS and motherboard logo even with Secure Boot enabled.

For me, the actual cause of this issue was disabling CSM to turn on Secure Boot rather than anything with Windows 11 itself—though I think a lot of people do this step while upgrading. Luckily I was able to work around this by changing the PCIe setting.

Hope this is able to help others.

I found my solution so it's probably not the same for everyone, I needed to clean my computer so I blew it out with compressed air, when I got it hooked back up is when the problems started, to make a long story short, I connected my HDMI monitor cable to the motherboard and not the graphics card. I realized my mistake and re-connected to the video card and now I can access the BIOS. Maybe this solution can help someone.

Same issue here. And it 100% with Windows 11 OS, because i just switched to it and before on Windows 10 all was fine! Whats going on, Microsoft? After update bios i can log into it by pressing F10, but as soon as i log into Windows 11, switch off and turon on my computer - thats all! No boot logo, no any message prompt to log into bios. But if i press DEL or F2 to enter, it stucks with blank screen! So annoing! What should i do to change my bios settings - every time reflash my bios? Seriously? Repeat - no such problem with Windows 10! Tried all things - cables, monitors, graphic cards. But only thing helped - reflash bios (thank u asus for flashback button!). But after logging into windows 11 it says - no bro, if u want to change ur settings, reset ur bios every time! I'm burning

Solved for me. I was facing the same issue. Unable to see Advanced startup option on blue screen and also BIOS/UEFI. Tried CMOS reset, plugging out all peripherals except CPU and reinstalling again, changing display resolution to lower value, down graded refresh rate to 30 fps. All in vain. There were two options left to try

    1. BIOS reflash
    2. Reinstalling windows 11

All attempts to reflash bios were failed as no screen showing up as that was the problem to begin with.

Turned out Id enabled the AMD freesync from the native monitor settings which caused this whole issue.. Once I turned of AMD freesync from monitor settings menu, I was once again able to see the Bios. Please note that I was able to access windows 11 is throughout this period. Somehow AMD freesync is not comfortable with displaying windows Advanced startup option and bios/uefi. Please disabling AMD freesync or equivalent display altering settings from monitor and/or gaming software. Hope this helps.
