I recently bought a new Asus 6E (6GHz) router, and I have four newer laptops with Intel AX210 and AX211 wireless cards installed, all running Windows 11 or Windows 10 Professional. Two of these computers came with Windows 11 Professional and the AX210/AX211 wireless cards new, and the other two were upgraded.
None of my computers can see the 6GHz network. I know the network is broadcasting because my S21 Ultra can see and connect to the 6GHz band. I've tried the latest manufacturer driver 22.130.0.5 and latest Intel driver 22.140.0.3, and neither of them can see the 6GHz network.
In my search for help, I found this previous post Solved: ax210 window 10 21h2 not showing 6GHz networks - Intel Communities and tried the recommended older 22.45.1.1 driver and it worked. However, 22.45.1.1 was only provided by the Microsoft Insider program to enable initially enable Wi-Fi 6E support in Windows 10 and is over fifteen months old.
This doesn't seem like a hardware issue since my phone can connect to the 6GHz network, and my computers can connect to the network using the older driver. I even verified this by purchasing a different Wi-Fi 6E (6GHz) router to confirm it wasn't a router issue. However, I still can't see the 6Ghz network using any other version of the driver.
I have a help ticket open with the computer manufacturer, router manufacturer, and Intel but thought I would ask here as well since it seems like a software issue.

Ya I did the same. Interesting to note, I couldn’t see the 6ghz on my new Lenovo carbon but was able to connect to a 6ghz network on my Meraki network at work. Makes zero sense. Even sent my laptop back to Lenovo to assess but it came back without issue according to them.
When I started this thread, my main issue was 6GHz connectivity with two new Dell laptops. A 12th Gen Dell XPS 9520, and a 11th Gen Precision 7560. After 2 months having an open support ticket for both Dell finally said that the XPS 9520 does not support Wi-Fi 6E (6GHz), even though the AX211 adapter is capable of 6GHz, and Dell will not support it in the future. It wasn't designed/engineered correctly for 6GHz capability. Note - Dell's specifications never mention 6E (GHz) capability. Having had the laptop for over 30 days Dell said there was no way they could accept a return, so I took my grievance to the Better Business Bureau and filed a complaint. Within a week I had a return authorization.
My Precision 7560 finally had its Wi-Fi 6E capability enabled with firmware version 1.15.2. Dell's specifications did/do show 6GHz capability but lack the Wi-Fi 6E annotation which would be expected in the specifications.
So, I write all this because I still needed a new laptop to replace my XPS that I returned and decided on a Precision 5570 partly because it advertises 6E (6GHz) when you build one on their website, and even on my purchase order. Well guess what, it doesn't connect to the 6GHz network. I opened a support ticket and 28 days later Dell support replied "The limitation is actually with the Management Engine on the system (Intel ME), which doesn’t support the WiFi 6E. It doesn’t look like there’s a way to turn it on at present." At least I was able to return the system within the 30-day return period.
If you really need 6E capability I would look elsewhere. If you're past your 30-day return window and still want to return the system, I would consider filing a complaint for false/deceptive advertising with the Better Business Bureau.
Same issue for me - i have a new Gen 10 Lenovo Carbon with the AX211 160 mhz 6E wifi card running windows 11 natively. I have tried several early access updates and i still cant see my 6Ghz network. No issue connecting on a samsung S22 so i can only assume my hardware is fine (UNIFI 6E AP's). I tried creating an all new SSID with a new name and 6Ghz only, then tried a new SSID with the same name as my 5Ghz network. and yes my AP's force WAP3.

I cannot see a reason why you cannot. Keep in mind, the OP appears to have a non-compatible Wi-Fi 6 router.
My issue is not with an incompatible router. I upgraded from the GT-AX11000 to the GT-AXE16000 and didn't change my network name becasue I have too many clients to change right now. I mentioned it in a previous post.
I even bought a GT-AXE11000 to test with and have the exact same issue.
Same issue with my Razer Blade 15 with Windows 11 and AX210 connecting to XFinity XB8. Downgraded driver from latest Intel to 22.45.1.1 and magically 6GHz.
