My Win 11 PC can only wake up by pressing the power button. How do make it able to wake up using the keyboard or mouse?

I have checked the option that says "Enable wake up using mouse or keyboard" somewhere, but it doesn't make any difference.

My PC is updated to the latest system update.

I believe I found the solution, it is a Windows power-saving policy where USB power is cut off when the computer goes into sleep mode, so the keyboard receiver will not work, and the computer will not wake up as a result. You just need to disable this feature.

Settings > Energy e Battery > Energy Recommendations > Stop usb devices when my screen is off to save battery ----> Turn Off.

I am unable to find "Wake Up Event Set Up within Advanced Settings. The options are Performance, User Profiles, Start Up and Recovery only. None of these offers an option for "Resume by USB Device", etc.

ClintGeer, Perfect, so simple! I had same problem after MSI Z790 Tomahawk build.

Not sure if this is applicable to all BIOS but it is relevant to MSI BIOS. Problem solved, thank you.

If it is like mine was doing, when it went to sleep on its own the only way to wake it up was to make sure that it was plugged in to ac power, and press the power key (beside the Del key) and hold it down for 30 seconds. Other than that I know nothing about how to fix it.
