Windows update 10/12/2022 broke my PC totally!

I noticed last night before I went to bed that I had the option to update and restart my PC which meant there was something in Windows that needed an update. Ok...sure. I selected that option, watched the system prepare and download the update, and went to bed.

This morning I go into my office and my PC won't even boot! I initially get to the Windows loading screen....nothing but the spinning dots for 30 minutes. So I hold the power button down, let it reset...same result. I reboot again, try to go into Safe Mode....nothing at all. Black screen. So I thought "Great! I have to reinstall Windows and restore my last system image (which was this Sunday thankfully)." So I get out my Windows USB install stick, set my PC to start from there, get the prompt to install 32 or 64 bit Windows, select 64 bit, get the loading install files message...

Nothing! Doesn't load at all!

I've tried to get into Safe Mode, took out all my RAM and reseated them, only installed 1 stick at a time (out of four I had installed), unplugged and reseated the PSU cables to EVERYTHING...not one single thing is working! I use my computer for work, and right now all I have is a $3500 paperweight! I've now spent HOURS in Google University trying to find the magic bullet that will fix this, and nothing is working!

    Why are there so many posts on this subject?

    Why is this happening?

    Updates to software are surely supposed to resolve minor bugs not disable your computer!

    What are the Microsoft Windows people dong?

    Obviously not doing the right thing.

    I am not technically minded and don't understand much of the issues being discussed so how am I supposed to resolve my Windows problems.

    A professional company like MS should never be having these problems, where has it all gone wrong?

    The system is totally broken!

    Why, is because they can.

    Microsoft has the monopoly. Yes there's Linux and Ubuntu, but they're ****.

    I honestly think that new windows 10 updates are trying to force people into windows 11.

    Me To, second time this year I've had to reload windows and programs due to a "failed" cumulative update. WHYYYYYY ????????
