This worked for me. I disconnected printer from laptop (USB), executed the download, program told me to connect printer, and it was done. Took about 15 seconds

    It worked for me also. My 15 years old HP 1018 got installed in Windows 11 PC.

    This is actually HP's Windows 8 driver. If you want to download it from a more trustworthy source: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/COL22208/bi-58529-4/lj1018_1020_1022-HB-pnp-win64-en.exe

    Thank you, kind person. The HP driver worked just fine and didn't install Search Monkey on my computer or worse.
