Windows 11 keeps dropping wifi

I am on the same boat.

After i set the power mode to best performance and turned off the power save mode in adaptor, the problem improved a bit, yet completely settled....

I have another old win 10 laptop, its wifi connection is much much much better than this stupid win 11....(same router, same isp, same remote mouse, even sitting on the same spot on my desk)

I spent ~ a month doing reading searching fixing....the problem still not be solved, not mention to that I lost a marauder ship and almost lost another carrier in EVE due to the wifi disconnection....the monetary loss was not a big deal, but this made my killboard much worse....i feel sad now almost gave up enjoying the game, and changed my gaming habit now.

I have no idea why M$ care much more about the carbon emission than whether your product being working or not...

I have to tell you M$ i have spent a lot of electricity to fixing YOUR problem. created much more carbon which should not be created during the process if your product is fundamentally working....See it is ironical when i saw the " power consumption and carbon emission" option emphasized in settings.

Perhaps i should skip your next product, and make myself ready to embrace your rival

I am having this problem too. Windows needs to fix this bug. It also keeps forgetting my printer/scanner

Recently installed Windows 11. The wifi remains connected for sometime and then after some time drops. Nothing I do can reconnect again. Only a complete restart fixes the wifi and then after sometime the connection gets dropped again. What can I do to fix this?

I fixed the issue by chance but now everything is making sense to me..!!

I faced this issue with my new and old Lenovo yoga laptops with different versions of windows which was really a headache to me.

let me make it simple.... the issue is with the wireless mouse we use! yes

it interrupts with the signal of the Wi-Fi because in most cases, the mouse's signal interferes with the Wi-Fi signal.

I can't remember the exact solution. However, if your computer has been recently bought or you've never toggled settings on your wifi adapter (or it's a new adapter) there is a default "power saving" setting that will cause this issue. The first comment literally is to check if the problem is chronic. I'll save you the trouble, it is and figuring out how to disable this "disable wifi to save resources" toggle will solve your issue.

My original post on this is that it happens to me on a desktop. I no longer have the problem since I bought a plug in USB network adapter and downloaded the latest version of 11. Now I still dont know what was the correction, hardware or software. But Im good for now

I a glad you have dealt with this issue, but it sounds almost like you are saying that you just gave up on WiFi completely and got a hardwired internet connection....

Although I am certain that this would be a solution, it is not truly correcting the problem with the WiFi connection being dodgy. This is just saying, 'I never could get the WiFi to work, so I switched to broadband internet', but that still leaves the WiFi connectivity issue as being a problem.

That having been said, I did find that my issues were coming from my ISP having signal issues from the modem, and perhaps that I was a little quick to blame Windows 11 and Microsoft for what was not their mistake. In any case, I am happy for you that you have stable internet now!!
