Xbox Gamebar capture not working on Windows 11

Hi, I just upgraded to Windows 11. My gamebar capture stopped working, like the buttons aren't working. I have tried repair and reset on Setting with Gamebar but still not working. Does anyone know how to fix this? The buttons aren't clickable and I cant use the record shortcut.

    Try uninstalling the game bar and then reinstalling. I did it right now it worked.

    To uninstall game-

    1. Open powershell and Run as administrator.
    2. Type this command

    Get-AppxPackage *Xbox* | Remove-AppxPackage

    1. You can reinstall through microsoft store.

    I was able to solve this problem using this method, but it seems that the uninstall command is slightly different.

    • If Xbox Game Bar doesn’t appear for a full-screen game, try keyboard shortcuts: Press the Windows logo key+ Alt + R to start recording a clip, then press it again to stop. You’ll see the screen flash when the recording starts and ends.

    I too was laboriously trying to fix the greyed-out screen-capturing buttons. At first, I tried repairing Xbox game bar, and then resetting it, but nothing. Then, editing the registry - also nothing. Updating Xbox game bar - nothing. Alas, I went to the Microsoft store, and noticed that under Xbox game bar, it not only said 'Open' but also 'Get'. Miraculously, that is what fixed the issue.

    Just thought I would share my experience is all. I had been trying to fix it for hours lol.
