Cannot install Windows 11 - Error 0xc1900101

I am trying to install the new Windows 11 update from Windows Update, but I keep getting error 0xc1900101.

The installation starts, and after a couple restarts, it says:

" Attempting to recover installation "

" Undoing changes made to your computer "

And then I am greeted with error 0xc1900101 on Windows Update.

    Hi Frank,

    Unfortunately, SP4 hardware doesn't support W11 and if you weren't in the DEV channel before 24/06/2021 you can't install Windows 11 preview on it as MS has put a block on it. Some people have found work arounds to bypass the block.

    I have two SP4 that do run OK with W11 but the CPU isn't supported which to me seems nuts as they run OK.

    Have you used any of the following to find out what might be causing your error?

    Thanks for the info, I will go and read the Articles

    Still strange that I got the update without any workarounds.

    I got a message this morning that I have to reboot for pending updates.

    I have the same issue on my surface 4

    Tries to upgrade and than two times a green dump screen

    After that restoring windows 10

    I like your choice of the work haunting.

    My laptop has nothing but Microsoft applications with the exception of AutoCad.

    I see no additional actions by me to get is clean enough for Windows 11.

    My guess is MS is building for future computers, and 80% of current ones.

    Disabled network card in BIOS

    Disabled drives other than the main one

    Still no luck,...this error keeps haunting
