Lenovo Legion Desktop 5i keeps freezing and bsoding

Recently, I got a legion 5i, model T5-28IMB05. It's a great pc, it has good specs and it's really fast in games. However, since day one I've been getting random freezing issues. This happens absolutely randomly, but not so often - only once a day.

Whenever I'm doing anything (even something not power-intensive like browsing the web) my pc could freeze and bsod. This is how it looks like: the pc stays on a screen (freezes) then after about a minute it cuts to a blue screen and gives me an error message: DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION.

Every time my pc restarts after the bsod, my realtek audio drivers go missing, and there is no sound coming from the pc, as well as the audio device being hidden in device manager. Strangely enough, after a hard power off (holding the power button) the realtek drivers come back.

Another possibly related issue I've been having is that my wifi card just cuts out during large downloads like steam games. It will be going at full speed, until it drops to 0 mbs and kills the internet for my pc until I restart the wifi.

I've tried doing a fresh install of the newest nvidia driver, did the built in memory check twice, fixed registries with errors in them via a third party application, and I've even done a completely fresh install of windows from a usb stick.

    same issue here, rolled back to lenovo nvidiia driver , it works well, but alot of games can not be played due to outdated drivers. I dont believe lenovo is coming out any fix at near sight.

    I've Tired disabling the HD audio in custom installation for the latest Nvidia Drivers (497.29) for a day and it crashed within an hour. I had to revert to Nvidia Driver 466.77 which has been the most stable driver so far with no crashes whatsoever. Any driver after that causes crashes and the same BSOD error pshed.dll and intelppm.sys. Has anyone found a workaround yet or are we all SOL?

    Hi!

    I downloaded the realtek audio driver and fixed the issue for anything that was plugged into the 3.5mm jack. I use a mix of USB headphones and aux speakers. The headphones were fine the whole time.

    i did a custom install and removed hd audio but now i dont have audio on pc...? what do i do

    I've been running with no crashes for just under 3 weeks at this point. Obviously a semi-temp fix as we don't know if it'll work as updated drivers come out. I might try downloading the latest one, and disabling the HD audio on that one and see if it's stable.
