Repeated crashes and BSOD on ASUS TUF A15

I've seen many so many of these issues related to the Tuff A15 and A17 (which I have). I'm a computer tech and have exhausted my 30+ years experience trying to resolve these issues. I finally gave up and bought another laptop.

I'm fairly convinced these issues are arising from poor engineering and maybe poorly written drivers.

In all my years, I've never met such a buggy computer that resists every effort to fix the faults. I'm thinking there could be a class action law suite in this. This laptop has no stability.

I also have over a decade long experience with computer tech and I can't recall a problem I wasn't able to fix after exhausting all possible options. As you said it's a result of poor engineering. Asus really **** up here. But unfortunately I don't think there are enough users of these laptops to reach class action level suite. All I take from this is to avoid Asus from here on out. They used to be top notch, but guess time has taken its toll on them.

Several months ago I bought an gaming laptop, an Asus TUF A15 FA506IV with Windows 10 installed. Everything was fine in the first weeks, but then my computer started to crash and get BSOD randomly, except when I'm playing or using it intensively, which is weird.

I've tried everything, ranging from reinstalling drivers, to a complete reset and windows install.

I've checked RAM, disk and system files integrity, tried multiple repair tools, both Microsoft and unofficial, multiple times, installed every single driver based on Windows Update recommendations/constructor website, even used driver verifier, but nothing has changed since.

The only thing that sometimes changes is the error message of the bluescreen, when there's one. Often the screen only goes completly black, and nothing else happens.

Oh, and I can't show any memory/crash dump since nothing is generated.

Is there anything else to do, or is my computer doomed to be returned to the vendor ?

Same prob with me, i bought my laptop 3 and a half month ago. Asus Tuf A15 FA506IC with AMD Ryzen 7 4800 and RTX 3050 4GB, at the first month my laptop didnt have a problem but after 2 months whenever i set to turbo or performance mode (Armoury crate) when playing games, watching youtube and idle my laptop keep BSOD and when i check event viewer it says event ID kernel 41 kernel-power. Help me what should i do lol. New laptop feels like old **** second used device zzzz. Better stay with my Asus tuf Fx505dd with ryzen 5 and gtx 1050, i know its laggy nowadays but didnt have a problem like this.

Hi. Thanks for the recommendations. I deactivated the PCIe link power management but the notebook still giving BSOD.

I already tried many configurations, clean installation of windows 11 and even using linux. Specifically, I tried with Linux Mint and also had freezing problems.

All of that leads me to think that it is Bios or hardware related problem. I will visit a technical service the next week, but I don't have much hope.

Try the last options we post in this thread. I have the same issue.

Only crash when I use windows or silent mode in Armoury Crate while watching videos of youtube. In performance and turbo It never crash
