Can't update window to window 20h2

as i said can't update window to window 20h2 keep saying (VirtualBox uninstall this app now because it isn't compatible with window 10)

so my installing bar is stuck in 14%, tried to search the virtualbox but can't find it in apps and programs.

Hello,

I had the same problem searching around for days.

The cause was NOT a installed / uninstalled Virtualbox BUT a portable one on the filesystem :-(

In my case i opened C:$WINDOWS.~BT\Sources\Panther{RANDOMSTRING}_APPRAISER_HumanReadable.xml

and search for 'T_ANY_FMC_BlockingApplication" Value="TRUE"'

which found:

<Property Name="LowerCaseLongPathUnexpanded" Value="%programfiles(x86)%\linuxlive usb creator\tools\virtualbox\portable-virtualbox\app64\virtualbox.exe" Ordinal="1" />

Removing this files let me install 20H2.

    Thanks! I was able to resolve the issue by uninstalling Linux Live. That was the problem.

    In my case I did everything I could to remove all traces of LDPlayer and Bluestacks, even from the registry, but still nothing.

    |Here's what solved it for me!

    Then after digging I’ve found a folder in Program Files called “dnplayerext2”, seems to be something related to LDPlayer and was full of Vbox files which did not show up in any searches. Deleted that folder and emptied by recycle bin and the update started to work.

    As of 21/4/2021

    Just in case anyone else needs this information. 
    LDPlayer Mobile Game Emulator get installed into two locations.

    C:\Program Files\LDPlayer,and then a second directory

    C:\Program Files\ldplayerbox which contains drivers and other junks

    I just deleted both folders and Window Update is now able to pass through. if you can't remove the files and folders, you can try WiseForceDeleter. Its a freeware and safe to use. Hope it helps folks.

    Thank you so much! I tried every solution in this thread, but this one finally worked. I can't believe virtualbox was still in this file even when I tried searching for it, running the package suggested and looking at hidden files and the uninstall programs page
