Can't update window to window 20h2

as i said can't update window to window 20h2 keep saying (VirtualBox uninstall this app now because it isn't compatible with window 10)

so my installing bar is stuck in 14%, tried to search the virtualbox but can't find it in apps and programs.

Hello,

I had the same problem searching around for days.

The cause was NOT a installed / uninstalled Virtualbox BUT a portable one on the filesystem :-(

In my case i opened C:$WINDOWS.~BT\Sources\Panther{RANDOMSTRING}_APPRAISER_HumanReadable.xml

and search for 'T_ANY_FMC_BlockingApplication" Value="TRUE"'

which found:

<Property Name="LowerCaseLongPathUnexpanded" Value="%programfiles(x86)%\linuxlive usb creator\tools\virtualbox\portable-virtualbox\app64\virtualbox.exe" Ordinal="1" />

Removing this files let me install 20H2.

    Thank you soo much, I had the same LDPlayer and after uninstalling it, it looks like there is progress with the Windows update.

    I tried looking in that *_APPRAISER_HumanReadable.xml file, and found nothing.

    However, I did a global search for VirtualBox in my C drive, and found a file named that in a folder for LDPlayer (an android emulator for playing games on my PC). Uninstalling that did the trick.

    Thank you! Saved me a right headache. Removing LDPlayer did the trick :D

    I have the same screen.

    If a type 1 and enter, than come:

    Cannot bind argument to parameter 'Path' because it is an empty string.

    I contacted MS support twice and the only suggestion was: reinstall Windows and all apps.

    Hopefully there is a more workable solution to the problem here.

    Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. Can you check on Control Panel > Programs and Features. The program should be named as Oracle VM Virtualbox.
