Can't update window to window 20h2

as i said can't update window to window 20h2 keep saying (VirtualBox uninstall this app now because it isn't compatible with window 10)

so my installing bar is stuck in 14%, tried to search the virtualbox but can't find it in apps and programs.

Hello,

I had the same problem searching around for days.

The cause was NOT a installed / uninstalled Virtualbox BUT a portable one on the filesystem :-(

In my case i opened C:$WINDOWS.~BT\Sources\Panther{RANDOMSTRING}_APPRAISER_HumanReadable.xml

and search for 'T_ANY_FMC_BlockingApplication" Value="TRUE"'

which found:

<Property Name="LowerCaseLongPathUnexpanded" Value="%programfiles(x86)%\linuxlive usb creator\tools\virtualbox\portable-virtualbox\app64\virtualbox.exe" Ordinal="1" />

Removing this files let me install 20H2.

    I followed this step and worked. Just go to "C:$WINDOWS.~BT\Sources\Panther" and delete it with Shift+del.

    Note: If you get a message that some file(s) are used by some program just skip this or these files.

    I opened Command prompt as administrator then with dir C:$WINDOWS.~BT\Sources\Panther{RANDOMSTRING}_APPRAISER_HumanReadable.xml and then with del 4 or 5 files founded. All worked fine.

    For me it was an Android emulator called LDPlayer.  It seems that it also uses some version of VirtualBox.  Once I removed that as well, I was able to continue with the update.

    Thank you!! Your reply helps me a lot. I followed all solutions in this forum and always lost a step. Finally I found the problem that I also installed LDPlayer. Now I got the latest Windows update. Thank you for all responses in this forum. :)

    As for me, I found this hidden directory "C:\Program Files\Oracle" inside that VirtualBox was there. I deleted it and it worked.
