Random Freeze and Unresponsiveness [Windows 10 20H2]

Same here, Everything was running perfect and there was this alert that an update is available and that as MS will stop support to version 1909. So, I did It. and Then WHAM! ever since that happened, my PC boots up, works smoothly for a mind blowing less than 5 minutes and seems like I am stuck in a time loop. Every move takes longer and longer, and finally Hell Freezes Over! How is one supposed to trouble shoot when the troubleshooter does not detect anything and when the system is ON, I can't even get the start menu to show up let alone try cmd. Rolled Back the Update, reinstalled, tried repair, reinstalled again, clean install, even reformatted the SSD, SSD manager also checked out OK but nothing is working ever since the damn update. I'm 10 days behind the slowest member of my team. MICROSOFT Has to tackle this issue. I kep all my drivers updated.

SYSTEM SPECS: Ryzen 2400G, ASUS Prime A320M-K, 32 GB RAM, 140GB SSD (For Local C:), 1 Tb WD Blue internal HDD, Last version Windows 10 Pro Version 1909

I updated from 1909 to 20H2 in an attempt to resolve issues I've been having pertaining to WMR (Windows Mixed Reality) and the HP Reverb G2 and now after a few days of having updated this issue has cropped up, as described by others: 

1. Pressing Win Key does nothing
2. Clicking on Start Menu icon does nothing
3. Right clicking on desktop does nothing
4. Ctrl+Shift+Esc does not bring up Task Manager

You can move your mouse, but you can't click on anything and the only solution is to press Ctrl+Alt+Delete and sign out and then back in again OR you can hard reset your PC. 

Restarting the PC doesn't fix anything. 

I've also tried sfc / scannow and Dism / Online / Cleanup-image / RestoreHealth and although sfc / scannow found an integrity violation and fixed it this did not resolve this problem. 

Another unrelated issue is that I had to reinstall my sound driver for my sound card, Asus Xonar DX. 

I suppose I'm rolling back to 20H2, good thing I made an image of 1909, 20H2 is NOT ready for prime time. Please fix your garbage operating system. If it weren't for PC gaming I would've gone Linux LONG ago. 

This is absolutely unacceptable, also WMR is trash to top it off. I suppose you will just roll over and die and let Facebook have a monopoly with Oculus.

Issues with WMR: 

Perceived hardware failure was actually a WMR + Windows issue that could only be resolved via reinstalling / restoring the OS. I wonder how many cases of perceived hardware failure are actually WMR + Windows related. : WindowsMR (reddit.com)

Did that, did nothing

I tried this and it's working for me .

go to Control Panel > Power Options > Preferred Plan > Change to High Performance .

when it was set at  Balanced ( recommended )  it would freeze up .

I tried this and my laptop was doing fine for a few hours and just a minute ago, the screen went black and the whole system locked up with a buzzing noise. And just look at my reliability report here. This is getting absolutely ridiculous. There are days where my laptop would run just fine but the rest are just filled with freezing issues.

In reference to Win 10 20H2 seeing shared PC's and folders -  It's Microsoft!  Their product is buggy and changes with every update. It's spaggetti code. Worst quality control in years!  Their current file explorer has issues and I'm hoping they fix this soon.  In the meantime, I am not ever planning on using their cloud.  I've been using thier products since PC dos1.0 and can tell you "they don't give a bleep!"  If you have a Win 10 version that works, don't update! Remove their windows auto update - google registry changes.
