Can we please get a microsoft agent to chime in here. This is clearly a systemic issue and has been going on for months. I am paying for game pass and am completely unable to use it.

I just got Game Pass a few days ago and haven't been able to play it once because every single time I hit on Install a screen telling me to Download Gaming Services keeps popping up even though I've already installed it numerous times. I'm turning to this because I have no idea what to do, I've already tried a bunch of different suggestions from people such as: Repairing and Reseting all the apps, I've tried to uninstall and install with Powershell, I've tried to update through the windows store, I've updated everything on Windows, I tried going into the registry and I deleted the GamingServices and GamingServices.net but Nothing works at all, I've completely given up on this, I feel scammed because I just got Game Pass and I haven't been to play a single game.
One weird thing I noticed and I don't know if this is normal is that when I go over to my account settings on the Xbox App on the segment where it says "GameInstall Options" I get some weird error that says "There was a problem loading installation locations. Try Again" But it never gives me that chance to change anything.

2023-02-22T21:44:49+00:00 You know it's funny because not only do I get this constantly, but I also get the specific error code "0x8007001f" and ONLY that error code any time a game installation is attempted. I was in a chat with a microsoft support agent for probably over 2 hours trying ALL of their "fix" methods minus the reinstallation of Windows 11. Not a single one of them fixed the problem and at the end, they just told me that I would have to ask a windows support person rather than an xbox support person and I was just like really? It is a specific error code and they seemingly have 0 knowledge or info about it. Just today, I did a fresh reset and installation of windows 11 after saving all my stuff and what do you know! The problem is not fixed. What a scam.

Open powershell as admin, run this:
get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers
It uninstalls Gaming Services completely.
Then re-install, it will take a few minutes, then bam, games are available again. Just worked for me!

Click on your profile picture
Click on settings
Click on general in left hand side.
On right hand side change the location where “ this app downloads games by default”
Save the selection and restart your system.
Check if you still get the error.
