Do the windows updates include all driver updates including the Intel Drivers?

I noticed that there are several updates for intel drivers like this one for example the Intel Pro Set Wireless.

Should I do the update or will this make problems with my wireless connection?

    Hi Kenneth,

    You do not need to worry about that, if you install the Intel drivers, then Windows will only update those Intel drives when a newer version of the drivers are released by Intel.

    The two drivers listed in drive disk are the two following below.

    1. NVME Kingston RBUSNS8
    2. Seagate One Touch HDD SCSI Disk Device.

    On the matter of Intel Optane Memory, I notice that windows are including updates for the Intel Optane Memory and I am wondering if I get updates directly from the Intel company will this interfere with future Microsoft Intel updates?

    Hi Kenneth,

    Sorry those are just storage drivers, I need the model No. of the drive, when you expand the Disk Drives section, the model No. should be visible there.

    Hi Dave!

    I open Device Manager and expanded the Disk Drive and I have the three following items listed under the c:\windows\system32

    Drivers\disk.sys

    drivers\EHStorclas.sys

    drivers\partmgr.sys

    Would you please explain the meaning and functions of these drivers?

    I also notice that the drivers are listed as 32 whereas my system is listed as a 62 system

    Hi Kenneth,

    It depends on the drive you have installed on your PC, you do not have control over the amount, because the drive is a hybrid drive.

    Open Device Manager, then expand the Disk Drives section, please provide a screenshot of that window.
