How do i fix no audio device installed in windows 11?

I am encountering the same message ("No audio device detected") on a brand new Dell tower unit - not a laptop. My IT guy tried everything in his bag of tricks to no avail. After several hours and several hundred dollars of his time, the workaround he came up with was for me to purchase a "Sound Blaster Play! 3" USB dongle, plug that into the tower unit, and run the speakers from that - bypassing the internal sound card altogether. It works, but it's galling, to say the least. And for all of you with laptops, it's not going to help. Sorry.

Note to interested parties: My platform is not a laptop it is a Mele Mini PC and I was not using external speakers per se, I was using my TV/monitor with an hdmi cable connecting the PC to the monitor. This worked fine before I accepted upgrading from Win10 Pro to Win11. Now only the video works, the audio keeps saying no audio device connected, no matter what. Also, I have a second identical PC that I did NOT upgrade to Win11, that one is still on Win10 and working fine audio and video via a separate hdmi cable to the same monitor. Personally, I've given up trying to fix this. When I want sound, I use the Win10 PC; I use the Win11 PC only for storage of Research materials that don't require audio playback. Long story short: Microsoft has screwed us. If anyone is bold enough to start a class legal action against MS over this, you can count me in.

I Contacted Acer about this exact issue and even sent them my laptop for repairs but i got it back unfixed and they told me to contact microsoft as it is an OS issue they can't fix, my laptop is still under warranty (i got 5 year extended) but i installed win 11 when they started with the free upgrade promos and was promised performance improvements at the time on the low end laptop which was the case for about 6 months and then with the first major update i started to have issues, my desktop that i built myself has older components than the laptop yet sound works find on my desktop still but i've had nothing but issues for months, the real kicker is that both the desktop and laptop have realtek audio devices and from what i've looked up its the same hardware as its a super common chip from realtek that they are still manufacturing for latest gen amd devices so absolutely nothing stated here by anyone makes any real sense as two basically identical devices should have matching situations but clearly windows developers have done something to cripple laptops before they are at end of life.

So after saying all of this Raju can you actually be a useful mod and escalate this issue to be seen by someone who actually can represent microsoft officially and not just be taking wild guesses at best like the normal people commenting on this, your a mathematician not a developer or programmer, cause as this stands i'm better off writing my own unsigned driver to try and force activation of the device and that's a maybe at best for a solution and it almost guarantees risk to the rest of my system and is a few weeks of work at best for a novice programmer like me to a problem i shouldn't be working on a solution for at all and microsoft should have had the brains to avoid in the first place

Maybe a mathematics expert or so you claim but you definitely have no logic. Stop posting nonsensical solutions just to flatter your own ego.

If you search hard enough on the laptop you purchased in 2020, you may find the actual manufactured date to be much older. If you got a real bargain on the price, it was likely redundant inventory, embedded with what Microsoft and Intel are treating as "old" audio components that Windows 11 OS will not recognize. It may also be that software and hardware manufacturers conjointly now consider "old" as simply anything "so last year."
