how do u move the taskbar to the left side of the screen

How is this still not possible in 2024?

Is this some kind of a twisted social experiment? And what happened with Balmer's "DEVELOPERS, DEVELOPERS, DEVELOPERS!!!"? I mean, I am pretty pissed off at Microsoft with this Windows 11, so I am not really far from just switching and pretty much all of my fellows. This is insane at this point now. How did none of MS's engineers didn't manage to convince Management this is an incredibly stupid idea or how did it pass QA???

This is NOT the solution people are asking for, we want the Task Bar to appear on the left SIDE of the screen; not the justified left at the bottom of the screen.

Greg is 100% correct! Why can't Microsoft leave its customer base be? Why make us choose between upgrading and features we LOVE AND USE?

I place my taskbar on the left because it consumes less space (percentage) than on the bottom.

Please listen to your engineers and not just marketing - there's a lot of power users that need this functionality (especially left or right pinned taskbars) as it acts as our toolbox, endlessly complicated but we can actually read it off and stack them up. Now we're limited to, what, 5 open items horizontally? You need to remember your user-base is much broader than the one-finger typers making their way to facebook - this simplified 'mobile' style didn't work in windows 8 either. Please fix this.
