I just purchased a new printer. I keep trying to download driver but windows will not let me open.
I youtubed several videos on how to fix or allow the driver to be downloaded but my computer does not even have the option available! so I do not know what to do.

I am having the same problem with the Brother printer driver install from the Brother website. Brother says that if it's not a third party antivirus program interfering (it's not - I don't have one), then it's a registry problem in Windows. Any suggestions?
It is Windows 11, but not in S mode
I have an old printer and cannot download from the HP website. I tried downloading the HP app from the Microsoft store but that isnt working either. I am so disgusted with microsoft!
I have an HP LaserJet P2055dn printer. In Windows 11 I cannot get a driver that will connect to the printer.

The problem is that the driver doesn't install. Not from Windows and not from the manufacturer (HP). Can't install PDF drivers either (e.g. Microsoft print-to-pdf or others)
This has been going on for a month.
Windows 10 machine still works with this printer.
Did you manage to get a solution to the mentioned problem as I am experiencing the same problem without a solution.
