Whenever I open the Minecraft app, it gets stuck at 35% loading process.

Before this issue occur, I had copied my old minecraft world folder from another drive to C Drive.

I have uninstalled all the audio drivers on the laptop, and then it reinstalled the default win 10 HD audio. I was able to load the game but as I said it had some kind of feedback audio loop like a beep about 2 or 3 times per second. When I tried updating the audio driver, the game was unplayable cause it failed to load at 41%.

This is an older laptop Latitude E5480 2017, and its integrated GPU as well as intel processor and audio. Now our older 2014 Dell laptop is an E5420 and it works just fine. Now that is what makes no sense to me if somehow older audio from realtek is supposed to be the issue.

My son plays the game and he says after a couple of mins the 'echoing' feedback effect slowly goes away. But it becomes louder if he presses any action that makes sound. If he waits a few seconds the feedback goes away completely. It seems to be like a microphone feedback imo.

Thats very odd, i dont get any echo from this

I did however also disable my Intel HD Audio adapter under sound controllers, this depends on what gpu you have because your gpu will also have an audio processor for hdmi use, in my case its an old laptop with integrated intel gpu hence an Intel HD audio adapter being present in the device manager as well as the realtek one

The only other thing i would suggest is if you can roll back the realtek audio driver to an earlier version that may also work but its definately the audio driver thats causing this issue at least for me anyway

If you are using speakers built in to a monitor thats connected via hdmi then try disabling the realtek or generic hd audio device instead and leave the GPU Audio device enabled since that would be what should be used if your speakers are connected via hdmi

Hope that helps and good luck 👍

Yes I think you are onto something. When we tried loading Minecraft after 10 attempts we got the game to boot. But there was no sound. And when we did get sound to work again on the computer then minecraft wouldn't load at 41%. So it must have something with the driver. I am currently fixing my sons laptop with the same issue but still no go...

    I had the same problem!!

After searching internet and getting nowhere a bit of logic and a hint about hardware failure from event viewer, combined with cobsiderations of the symptoms during the crashes i can advise the following fixes

IF Closing runtimebroker.exe does not work (like it dod not for me)

Try loading a youtube video, leave it running then open minecraft

If it loads fine you can tab out of minecraft and close your browser

In this instance there is something wrong with your gpu driver

This worked for me for some time then stopped working i was back to square one, but i found the fix at least in my case anyways

Realtek HD Audio Driver being pulled from microsoft update is the offender.

    1. Go to Run
    2. Type 'devmgmt.msc' then hit enter
    3. Under Sound/Audio devices find 'Realtek HD Audio'
    4. Right click the device
    5. Remove device
    6. Tick box "uninstall device drivers"
    7. Reboot

After rebooting if you check device manager it should have reinstalled the Realtek device as a Generic HD Audio device instead. Minecraft will now load without issue

** please note, windows update tries to reinstall the offending Realtek HD audio driver, you can disable driver updates via windows update by using Group Policy (gpo.msc) just do a google for 'how to disable windows device driver update via gpo' theres pleanty of guides on internet adcising how to stop the auto driver update to nip it in the bud perminantly

    Good Luck
