All USB devices Disconnect randomly on Windows 11.

That's never gonna happen because they're too busy harvesting your data to make a profit so the shareholders get richer. MS doesn't care about the problems their software causes with user systems. They've proven that with Windows 11 as it gets slower and buggier with each update. Just like Norton is no longer the company Peter created, MS is nothing like the company Gates created. Their primary goal now is to harvest as much of your data as they can so they can sell it to advertisers and other internet scumbags for profit. Long gone is the 'What do you want to do with your PC today' mantra once practiced by MS.

This weekend I installed Windows 10 twice and Windows 11 four or five times...
It would freeze even at the Windows installation screen or during updates, corrupting the operating system and requiring me to reformat again.

So, I don't think the problem is related to the operating system (since it happens during the installation screen, before selecting the version of Windows to install).

I tried a few things:
AT FIRST, I TURNED OFF CASE RGB LED FROM ARMORY CREATE (connected with same command in BIOS):

• USB keyboard + Bluetooth mouse (non-RGB): the problem persisted but was less frequent.
• USB mechanical RGB keyboard + USB RGB mouse: the problem occurred much more frequently.

I also thought about some previous issues I had that I didn't think were related, namely:

• Occasionally, the monitor input would disconnect with a nasty flash.
• Sometimes while browsing the internet (with a Wi-Fi card), the page I was viewing would disconnect and I’d get an error page "STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION" (the same issue occurred with Chrome, Firefox, and Edge).

This made me think it might be a peripheral power supply issue, so the motherboard might not be supplying power properly.

I have an 850W power supply and a 1200mA 720W UPS, which also powers the monitor HDR 4K.

So, I thought about connecting the PC directly to the power outlet.

I connected the RGB keyboard and mouse, formatted, and reinstalled Win11. I installed all the updates without problems.

Everything seemed fine, but suddenly it all froze again. It’s less frequent, so there is a peripheral power supply issue. However, I no longer experienced the monitor problem or the browser error.

Obviously, now that I’ve written this, I hope it doesn’t happen again like every time I think I’ve found the problem.

Now I’m contacting the store that assembled my PC, because the hardware is still under warranty and I want them to update the BIOS.

While I was writing this response, my USB devices disconnected and reconnected.
I checked the Windows event log, and didn't register anything

Good luck! I am quitting on the debugging processes. Hopefully one day it'll be fixed. What I noticed too, that most of the times I had the disconnects were when I opened up a webpage in a new tab. It wasn't the case all the time, but like 80% of the times i had the disconnects lately [last 3 weeks] were while opening a link in a new tab in Firefox. Some other times it was random, was just watching streams and even the streams stopped and started loading when I had those disconnects.

Anyway, too many variables. We've not a dedicated team that can monitor this 24/7 to figure this out, hopefully someone will figure this out, even though it's an ancient issue that happened even in Windows 10.

Please leave updates if you still get issues after reinstalling. I haven't had the heart to try out the liveCD Ubuntu on the PC yet. But I do have it on my laptop and it didn't have any issues while using it.

The other day, after the issue reappeared, I tried uninstalling Chrome. Everything went well! Now I'm using Microsoft Edge. Yesterday, I logged into my accounts on web WhatsApp and web Telegram and enabled on-screen notifications. So, there's always a background process for these two web pages (even if they are not visible).

Just now, while I was writing an email, my keyboard suddenly froze for a second, simultaneously my phone rang, and immediately I got a web WhatsApp notification on the desktop.

So, I imagine it’s due to something in the background using resources. For this reason, when I uninstalled Chrome, I had no issues (since Chrome has many services running in the background even if it’s not open).

Any advice?

Today I had the problem again.

For now, I have a USB mouse and keyboard connected, and also a Bluetooth mouse that I keep turned off but with the receiver connected to a USB 3.0 HUB. So:

USB Mouse: ROCCAT KONE AIMO (RGB)

USB Keyboard: Trust GTX (RGB)

Bluetooth Mouse (on HUB-USB): Logitech MX MASTER

When the mouse and keyboard stopped working (even though they remained powered and lit), I tried turning on the Bluetooth mouse. The USB mouse came back online, and I turned off the Bluetooth one. However, the keyboard still didn't work, so I unplugged the USB cable and plugged it back in.

I think my problem is due to a Windows bug that switches between the various HID devices (4 for the keyboard and 3 for the mouse) automatically (for some reason).

So now I want to try uninstalling the other HIDs, hoping that they won't get reinstalled every time.
