Power & battery settings in Windows 11 won't open

The power & battery settings won't open when going to Settings >System > power & battery. The same thing happens when I right click the battery icon (power & sleep settings) in the sys tray.

    Eureka! Found the solution.

    I just read all the other comments and someone said to enable the "Sensor Service". Well that was it. I had disabled that service after someone had mentioned it was safe to disable in some post to optimise windows.

    I enabled it and now the power settings page is opening.

    Task Manager -> Services -> Open Services -> "Sensor Service" (Make startup -> "Automatic")

    Thanks to whoever mentioned about the Sensor service in the comments earlier.

    If you are not experiencing any problems with the battery on your laptop, the best option then may be to wait until the feature update on 10th of October next week and hopefully that will solve the problem accessing battery and power settings.

    count me in..i cannot open the power and battery settings in windows 11 despite trying so many solutions to 'fix' it....
