Windows Spotlight suddenly decided to use Thai language instead of my system setting (US English). How to fix this?

this must have been a bug in the last update. i have not been traveling around the world, and I don't have a VPN, but it still changes to various languages as if the description/info blurb language is based on where the picture was taken or the default language settings on the photographer's computer (?), ignoring my settings.

I did change back to the normal picture only lock screen until this gets sorted.

Same here.

None of the solutions that were suggested here are working:

• using intl.cpl to copy locale language settings to lock screen and rebooting does nothing
• clicking on "I'm not a fan" option doesn't change the picture, but it changes language to some other, that is now not even in latinic
• changing lock screen to picture and then back to Spotlight changes nothing

Kinda annoying.
