    Nothing here worked I have hated this system for a while and now I have a very good reason to go back to win 10

    I tried a simple fix that I found.

    Logged in to Azure for the first time https://azure.microsoft.com/en-gb/get-started/azure-portal

    Skipped the question and logged out.

    The search box is now working mysteriously.

    The only thing that worked for me was setting the taskbar alignment to "left"

    Easy Fix,

    1. Open task Manager.
    2. Find the Explorer.exe process.
    3. End the Task
    4. Run new task
    5. explorer.exe
