KB5034441 was done in Jan 2024 on my system, didn't have any errors then.

Okay, I reluctantly completed the steps you posted, and it seems to have worked. I haven't gotten an error 131 in about twelve hours. I'm confident that did it.

On one hand, I'm relieved; hundreds of error messages a day is no joke. On the other hand, how am I going to receive driver updates for that so it's permanently fixed? I just turned them off. Are there apps/programs that notify me when these are available for manual download? Or should I just go 'low-tech' and schedule a recurring event in my phone's calendar to check manually (which seems like a hassle)? There is no way I'm going to just remember to do this later without some kind of reminder.

Just had this error as well - seems like the problem still isn't fixed or addressed.

Had to force shut down, machine was beeping when clicking anywhere on the desktop.

Lots of warnings and errors in the event viewer.
