The first issue has been reported since the November last year. It has been 4 months passed.

Jesus. Are you guys actually going to fix the issue?

How can you mess up the window update this bad?

How quick we are to forget about the recent Bitlocker patch fiasco. LOL

please help me. my system keeps turning off during gaming

I doubt this error has anything to do with your pc crashing/turning off. You probably see a bunch of these errors in the Event Viewer, and they are annoying to see, but your system is crashing due to something else, and you looked at the event viewer and thought it would be all of these errors.

Look at any other errors to see if they help diagnose your problem.

Do you overclock your system? If so, turn that back to stock and see if it fixes the problem. A common cause of games crashing is being too overclocked.

Still doesn't work. Says access denied, even as administrator. I also tried renaming through windows explorer, btu says files ar currently in use.

However, I was able to get that latest update to fully install by deleting the hidden "$WinREAgent" folder in C: drive.

Unfortunately, after rebooting the PC after the update was completed and using windows for a while, I got the "Driver Power State Failure" again, and after a couple failed reboots it restored me back to the PC state before the new Window Update installed.

So, I don't know what the heck is up. Not sure if my issues are related to this metadata staging failed error, or something else altogether. Might be hardware issue?

My system is running fine on Windows OS build 22631.3007.

Looks like I'm staying on that until further notice.
