I have tried EVERY method discussed here over the past 6 months to get my printer to stop going offline.
My computer guru can't understand it either. I have all the Windows updates for 11 and all the updates for my HP laser printer, but it goes offline randomly and for no reason. Sometimes resetting the Print Spooler works, sometimes I have to delete the printer and add it back.
I recently had to delete and re-add my printer again but this time the laptop sees the printer, can give me a preview, says the printer is ready, but gives me a Printing ERROR with no explanation as to the cause, and then it states it is offline.
What makes this so maddening and unacceptable is that my husband's laptop has NEVER had the printer go offline or had a print error message, and now I have to email him anything I want printed.
Has this happened to anyone else? Is it a laptop brand issue? I am at my wit's end. This supposed to be seamless. What new methods can anyone recommend?
