I tried that Ubuntu **** years ago. Not again. I'll try Open Source again but not Ubuntu - or are you telling me you're using it in Windows 10 or 11 and you love it?

You're not alone - but I suspect you know that by now.
I just followed your method. It seems to work OK, Thanks for your help.
How do I get Copilot out of my Microsoft365 Word processor?
It is extremely bothersome! Microsoft Support has failed to assist me in deleting Copilot . . . on two separate occasions. During both landline conversations, it seemed as though they still have not figured how to get rid of it. Suggested that I use Outlook instead of Chrome. Problem remains unresolved!
Tried in disabling Copilot. Don't think it went away all together - but worth a try. Maybe you have tried this way? I used Outlook. Go to File (in Word). Go to options. Go to Copilot (4th down in column of options). Uncheck or remove the checkmark from the boxes and click "okay." As mentioned, may not be successful. Had to try several times before it worked. Isn't the change still followed by the system/powers that be? Good luck.
