I'm wondering if Microsoft is in trouble. Some things are just not working as they should.

The big problem for me is that they are very bad a communicating. I would like to see a more open approach and a better narrative about how they are configuring the system.

One of my annoyances, is that they disrupted my work-flow, e.g. by sending question about what do I think of the new Outlook. The dialogue boxes didn't work so I got nowhere.

I think they've got huge problems.

The only good news is that they have sorted the problems with keeping Windows going for older PCs.

How long is it going to take Microsoft to add a Toggle Switch to turn off Copilot when you want to work independently of AI? I have no problem with AI, but I do need to be able to control it.

Especially when I am working with very sensitive and private files.

Surely it isn't too hard a task to add one.?

I have these same concerns of CoPilot still running in the background,****using up my much need system resources.

I disabled Copilot through the Settings app in Windows 11. When I look at Task Manager, I don't see Copilot using any of my system resources. I've done this many times, all with the same result. Copilot isn't even listed as a Startup service.

    go into word

    click on file

    click on options

click on "Copilot" (4th category down in the list)

Click any of the requested options that meet your goal

Does not remove Copilot all together but does remove what appears at first when you begin to type in word

Still haven't and don't know how to uninstall Copilot - even if it can be done yet

I think it's really important that Microsoft develops a more friendly programme for older people, and for kids for that matter.
