I am getting a warning in Windows 11 that "memory integrity is off" and it may make my PC vulneable. t suggests incompatible drivers might b the problem and tells me not to dete them but doesn't tell me what to do. Groan. I thought I had waited long enough for this OS to be cleaned up and working properly. I was wrong.

    Hello,

    I have tried so many things to turn on the memory integrity which started acting up after the update to Windows 11. The "turn on" button does not work. It said I had incompatible drivers so I uninstalled the oem62.inf driver, unplugged the cac reader and uninstalled the cac reader program and it seems to have worked until I opened the computer the next day. Now it shows the same warning and still shows S3XXx64.sys as incompatible but the driver which was originally there is gone.

    I have even purchased a new CAC reader which does not require drivers and the same thing is happening.

    I tried to uninstall Windows 11. I went thru the entire process and it gave me a message that the recovery process was complete but after rebooting it still shows that Windows 11 is operating and it still has the Windows 11 "feel" which I do not like and the option to remove current build is now longer available.

    It is experiences like this that are making me reconsider my desire to boycott Microsoft and go with Linux. The only thing stopping me right now is tax season begins next month and I do not have time to buy a Linux Mint computer and learn how to do a Virtual Windows thing so my Drake tax software will work with Linux.

    So much time has passed and this is still a problem with no issued fix?

    Clicking on, "Review incompatible drivers" open a new page that states these are the drivers that need to be fixed.

    There are no drivers there.

    When I "Review incompatible drivers" the list is empty.

    No incompatible drivers are listed.

    What is the next step?

    I'm having the exact same problem. Can't turn on memory integrity even though no bad drivers appear under "Review incompatible drivers."

    This has actually been a problem since I installed Windows 11 back in 2021. I'm currently running Windows 11 23H2 with all the latest patches. Maybe the problem will be resolved when Microsoft releases 24H2 in October but I'm not optimistic.

    06.27.24 Windows 11, version 23H2 changed names:

    Now: Privacy and Security = Device Security

    Now: Kernel Isolation Details = Core Isolation Details

    Now: Memory integrity = no change = OFF
