Monitor settings randomly change

I've been experiencing an issue with my Philips monitor where the SmartImage feature unpredictably switches to "Racing" mode on its own. Despite manually disabling this setting, it often reactivates itself multiple times until it finally remains off, only to recur upon restarting my PC or monitor. This problem emerged just last week, despite my having used this new PC and monitor setup for nearly a year without any similar issues. I've meticulously reviewed most of the accessible settings without identifying any that could be causing this behavior. Additionally, I've explored the monitor's on-screen menu but found nothing that explains the automatic switch to "Racing" mode, leading me to suspect it might be related to a setting on my PC. However, I've yet to pinpoint exactly what could be triggering this. If anyone has insights or suggestions on how to resolve this, your advice would be immensely valuable. Thank you in advance for your help.

This solution turned out to be temporary and now does not work. Overnight and without my permission, Windows 11 once again rebooted and installed updates and now the issue started recurring. I uninstalled the updates, but the issue has continued to recur several times per day. If Microsoft does not respond soon with a solution, I will have no recourse but to purchase three new monitors from another manufacturer.

The following isn't a solution, but it has reduced the number of incidents of this horrible issue:: I set my three Philips monitors to NEVER sleep and use a blank screensaver. I don't like doing this as the monitors still put off a faint glow, and I have no idea what this means in terms of power usage, component ware, and power consumption. However, not having this issue surface from sleeping monitor wakeup events helps a little -- Note to Microsoft: This is NOT a solution. Please help.

Shutdown the PC, reboot and when the loading user profile voilà screen revert to racing!

Or Philips have a firmware bug like millenium bug over a date SmartImage are damage or Windows load a module after security upgrade March 2024 wich cause problem on some system with philips monitor.

Next to Philips monitor i have a HP monitor e this don't have a issues beacause don't have a color profiles.

Back on March 10th user chethan bhandarkar mentioned doing an HP bios Device firmware update TBT TitanRidge 4C Ver .01 which triggered the problem. I also noticed most users have HP devices so perhaps the problem is specific to HP devices. There was also a new Community Thread created on April 25th about this problem. This is frustrating and exhausting.

Unfortunately going on the beta channel didn't work for long. A few hours later the problem reappeared.

In the end what I did was return the monitor and ask for a refund. I strongly suggest you do so to avoid further issues.

In my opinion, the problem is that in these models Philips allows the software to modify the monitors' settings, rather than being completely isolated one from the other. So, any software bug at any level (e.g. at the O.S., driver, or application level) could alter the monitor's behavior.

I have almost the same issues as you, my monitor is changing from Off to Racing. I updated my bios, updated the driver, installed the newest driver for my graphics card and for the monitor. But the issue is still not fixed.
